Nashville Earth Day returns to Centennial Park on Saturday, April 20, 2024. This free family event brings the Nashville community together to celebrate our planet, inspire positive environmental change, and support sustainable small businesses & nonprofits. Enjoy:

GIVING BACK
Since 2020, $100,000 has been given back to the community by Centennial Park Conservancy through Nashville Earth Day’s environmental project program. Proceeds from Nashville Earth Day have funded, in part:
The planting of more than 270 trees in Boyd, Dudley, Frederick Douglass, Green Hills, Hadley, Hartman, Mill Ridge, and Shelby Parks, plus Carter Lawrence Elementary;
Caring for 160,000 bees that reside in hives located in Centennial Park in Midtown Nashville, and introduced 9,000 bees to Shelby and Mill Ridge Parks;
The planting of six pollinator gardens in Green Hills, Hadley, Hartman, Mullins, and Shelby Parks, plus Stratford STEM Magnet School;
Cleaning up 13 waterways in Bordeaux, Donelson, Joelton, Madison, Midtown, Southeast Nashville, and West Nashville;
Providing education to thousands of adults and children in parks and classrooms across our community.
Facilitating the giving away of 1,000 trees to the public that have been planted in yards across our community
Giveaway 1,300+ native plants to more than 60 families and establishing a community garden in Southeast Nashville.
Nashville Earth Day is presented by Centennial Park Conservancy, in partnership with Urban Green Lab and support from Metro Parks Nashville. The event is underwritten by our many generous sponsors.
LOCAL ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECTS WE SUPPORT
Nashville Earth Day and Centennial Park Conservancy donate a portion of proceeds from our Nashville Earth Day program to support local environmental initiatives to create ongoing environmental change in our city.
Nashville Earth Day is located on the Great Lawn in Centennial Park. Attendees are encouraged to bike to the event. Attendees can also take the bus to Centennial Park via the Metro Transit Authority bus routes from West End #3, Charlotte #10 or the University Connector #21. Limited sreet parking is available around and in the Park.
