COVID GUIDELINES
Below are the COVID-19 guidelines for Nashville Earth Day taking place in Centennial Park on April 24, 2021.

COVID Protocol – General
1. At least one COVID Compliance Officer will be on site from load in through load out.
2. Information will be posted on the event website outlining all COVID protocols for patrons, exhibitors, etc.
3. We will have Social Media posts emphasizing all COVID protocols.
4. There will be signage on site outlining all COVID protocols.
5. There will be stage announcements reminding patrons of COVID protocols –masks, social distancing and hand washing.
6. There will also be stage announcements reminding everyone near the stage to limit their pod to six people and to remain in their pods at all times during a performance.
7. Event layout will be designed to accommodate expected crowd and maintain adequate social distancing.
8. Social distancing pods will be painted on the ground at the stage. The circles will start approximately 15’ from edge of stage to avoid contamination from performers singing, wind instruments, etc.
9. Exhibitor booths will be placed in way to increase social distancing; large aisles, additional spacing between booths, etc.
10. There will be social distancing marks on the ground at the entrance, at food trucks, at portable toilet lines, etc.
11. Hand sanitization stations will be placed at the entrance, near restrooms and at the food truck area.
12. All subcontractors will be required to submit their health and safety plans to Event Management for approval prior to contracting.
COVID Protocol – Staff and Volunteers
1. PPE required for all staff and volunteers.
2. Any staff or volunteers exhibiting symptoms, having recent contact with any contagious individuals or waiting on test results are not allowed to enter the site.
COVID Protocol – Food, Beverage, Merchandise Sales
1. PPE required for all exhibitors, vendors, etc.
2. Any exhibitors, vendors etc. exhibiting symptoms, having recent contact with any contagious individuals or waiting on test results are not allowed to enter the site.
3. Cashless sales for merchandise, food, beverage, etc.
4. Sales booths must be designed to maintain 6’ between buyers and sellers.
5. All exhibitor booths must be set up for interaction from the front of the booth only. Patrons are not allowed to “shop” inside a booth.
6. Detailed COVID compliance requirements will be emailed to all exhibitors/vendors/food trucks and they will be asked to leave if they refuse to comply.
COVID Protocol – Backstage
1. PPE required backstage at all times.
2. PPE required on stage except singers, horn players, etc.
3. Backstage access will be limited to essential personnel only.
4. Cleaning/Sanitization on stage between each musical performance. Special care taken for any shared mics, musical instruments, sound boards, etc.
COVID Protocol - Patrons
1. All patrons must wear a face covering over mouth and nose at all times.
2. Any patrons exhibiting symptoms, having recent contact with any contagious individuals or waiting on test results are not allowed to enter the site.
3. All patrons must agree to a waiver of liability prior to entering event site.
4. All patrons at the stage must remain in socially distanced pods.
5. All patrons are expected to social distance when moving around the event site, in lines at restrooms, at food vendors, etc.
*Patrons that do not comply with all COVID protocol will be escorted off property
